Sports gear, instruments & other special items

Sports equipment

Skis, snowboards, golf bags and bicycles can travel as checked baggage. Oversize/overweight fees may apply.

  • Skis/snowboard: usually charged as 1 piece if within weight/size
  • Bike: hard case recommended; tires deflated

Musical instruments

Small instruments may travel in the cabin; larger must be checked or travel on a seat you purchase.

  • Checked: use a hard case
Safety rules

What you can and can’t bring

Carry-on: max 100 ml per container, inside a single 1-liter resealable bag. Exemptions for baby food and medical liquids.
Spare lithium batteries must go in cabin baggage only; typically up to 100 Wh without approval. Terminals protected.
Explosives, fireworks, strike-anywhere matches, flammable paints, toxic substances, etc.
Mobility aids and essential medical devices are carried free in addition to allowance.
